Where we operate

  • East Crossroads

Today, our Kansas City homes are in the East Crossroads.

The rules, in plain English

As of October 2026.

  • Short-term rentals need an annual city registration.
  • New non-owner-occupied short-term rentals aren't allowed in residential zones; investor-owned rentals are limited to commercial and mixed-use zones, with caps per building and spacing rules.
  • Stays of 30 nights or more aren't covered by the short-term rental rules.

We check your exact address before we propose anything.

What that means for your property

Plenty of good Kansas City units can't be nightly rentals anymore. Most of them can still be furnished monthly rentals, and those are steady.

Demand

  • Kansas City hosted six matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a short-term rental demand spike downtown.
  • Kansas City's hospital corridor — University Health, Children's Mercy and the University of Kansas Health System — supports ongoing mid-term housing demand from traveling clinicians and patient families.

Know the number before you sign anything.

Send us the address and the unit mix. We'll send back a revenue projection built the way we underwrite our own launches. Free, and no obligation.
